Anime:
The Nisemonogatari anime (based on NisiOisin’s famous monogatari series and sequel to Bakemonogatari) had a new trailer released this week. On the evening of December the 28th, the official Nisemonogatari website revealed a new and much more complete trailer for the January 2012 anime sequel to Bakemonogatari. With it, fans could hear more voice clips from the cast and a better idea of what’s coming. NisiOIsin also announced through his Twitter that episodes 13-15 of Bakemonogatari will be streamed live on Nico Nico Douga and certain TV stations. In other news, the Steins;Gate preview of the unaired episode “Ōkōbakko no Poriomania” (or Rampant Poriomania) streamed online on Nico Nico Douga. This special episode will be included as an extra for those that buy the ninth and final Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume sold on February 22nd in Japan.
Games:
The Japanese line of videogame magazines Famitsu decided to poll its readers on what they believed were the top 20 saddest video games. Final Fantasy X ranked number one in this poll, as voters indicated that its storyline, scenario and soundtrack were the reasons why they chose it. Popular videogames, like the recently animated Steins;Gate also made it to the top 20 list.

Music:
The title for Nisemonogatari’s main musical theme was announced to be “ナイショの話” (“Naisho no Hanashi”) sung by ClariS x Ryo. The same musical theme was used for the new Nisemonogatari trailer (which allowed fans to listen more of the song before its official release).
Figures:
New Persona 4 Izanagi ver. 15cm figures will be sold all over Japan on December the 31st by Bandai! Another version of the cool Persona 4 arcana card Izanagi will be released in Japan by Megahouse around January or February.
